We are searching for an Account Manager to cultivate long-term relationships with our farmers and partners in Spain as more and more farmers in Europe place their trust in Agreena and sign up for our Carbon Program.


If you have experience with technical farm management systems, commercial roles involving agriculture, or are an agricultural engineer, we want you to join us in our effort to make agriculture both financially and environmentally sustainable.

About the role: 

You will play a key role in our operations in Spain, helping to define how we involve farmers in the ideas of regenerative agriculture and carbon farming, and encouraging them to join us. As our new Account Manager, you will be responsible for attracting and helping Spanish farmers and partners to join our program, guiding them through the whole user journey.

Your responsibilities: 

  • Introduce farmers to the basics of regenerative agriculture and how to reduce their carbon emissions through their farming practices

  • Help farmers register their farms on our online platform

  • Represent Agreena in farm visits, fairs and farmer meetings

  • Coordinate efforts with the Spanish teams, marketing and commercial area

  • Support our partners in Spain

Requirements

Requirements to succeed in the role: 

The key to success in this role is an appetite for creating impact and an entrepreneurial mindset 

  • Good understanding of agricultural practices and how agriculture works in Spain

  • Work experience in a commercial role, with a track record of success.

  • Willingness to travel a lot in Spain and sometimes abroad

  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills

  • Deep interest in people and ability to build lasting relationships

  • Located in Spain

  • Driver's license


Bonus points if you have: ​
  • Network of contacts in the agricultural ecosystem

  • You are good with technology, as well as computer, app and data management skills

  • Ability to explain complex products in a simple manner to a wide range of stakeholders

  • Knowledge of farm management software is a plus
