About the Role

Agreena is a Danish company, established by visionary founders and a community of highly influential large Danish farms, to support other farmers all across Europe making sustainable and profitable transitions into more climate friendly farming practices.

The demand and interest for our service is increasing rapidly, which is why we are looking for an entrepreneurial candidate within the industry that can lead the process of launching Agreena in Poland. 

The ideal candidate will have the knowhow of the local market, with a deep structural understanding and network within the locally based agricultural holdings, the political landscape, industry associations and other key players within the space. 

Your role:

The Market Lead will oversee preparing the market for a full launch with support from headquarters  and a local team. Be well-versed in all business matters & the local ecosystem. This person  therefore needs to be capable of running very practical tasks as well as complex strategic  initiatives. 

As the face and the voice of Agreena in Poland, the Market Lead Poland will also have the responsibility for both commercial and political communication towards the market. It’s key that the role consists of interest in developing and executing the local go to market strategy together  with the support from headquarters and the local team. 

One of the first tasks will be to map out all the important industry players that are key to a successful expansion. This is both in terms of commercial partnership as well as the political and  regulatory stakeholders that are key to the development of the market. Once established, the  Market Lead Poland will be responsible for setting a local team that can support the growth and  execute on the roll out plan. 

Requirements

Professional :

  • +5 years experience from within the ag industry in a commercial role

  • Deep industry insight and network

  • Well recognized profile in the agricultural industry

  • Proven ability to build and sustain networks of influence across a broad range of stakeholders

  • You need to have a driver’s license

  • You need to be speaking Polish (native) and English fluently

Nice to have:

  • Deep understanding of the local political agricultural landscape

  • Experience from associations

  • Farm level experience or understanding


As a person, you are energetic and take initiative to get things done. Your work is structured, and you can manage priorities and maintain timelines for multiple activities. You work well independently and are comfortable with remote work and travel.
